MIAMI, Fl., May 27, 2021 – HackerU has been named to the GSV EdTech 150 list, which recognizes educational technology companies with the largest and fastest-growing global learning impact. GSV estimates that together, these 150 companies have reached approximately three billion people, close to half of the global population.

HackerU was selected from more than 2,000 venture capital (VC) and private equity-backed (PE) private companies that meet the following criteria:

• VC or PE-backed private companies in Digital Learning, excluding companies that are public or have filed to be public.

• Companies that are post Series A in their development, with the exception of bootstrapped companies that have achieved meaningful scale with $10+ million in revenue.

• Organic top-line growth at over 30%.

GSV’s scoring system applies scores across multiple KPIs, including revenue scale, revenue growth, user reach, geographic diversification, and margin profile.

“Our success as an organization stems from our deep commitment to developing innovative, future-proof digital solutions, best-in-class student experiences, that transform lives and communities,” said Dan Vigdor, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of HackerU. “This accomplishment is a true testament to our team’s dedication and passion for fundamentally changing the face of the global workforce through digital education.”

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, HackerU transformed its in-person, on-campus classes, trainings, and services to be conducted in live, virtual classroom environments. In this shift to remote learning, HackerU, and its university partners have provided thousands of students across the nation with the accelerated, skills-based digital training needed to launch a successful digital career. Cybersecurity, Digital Marketing, Data Science & Analytics, Full-Stack Development, and UI/UX Design are among the many programs HackerU currently offers.
